Molecular data in SBDI can be searched by sequence, in the Swedish ASV portal using the BLAST program. The search will return Amplicon Sequence Variants (ASVs; the denoised sequences that are stored in SBDI) that are similar to your query sequence and are presented as sequences and with their taxonomical classification. Found sequences can be downloaded in table format, and links can take you to occurrence data in SBDI.
The specificity of the search can be controlled by specifying the minimum identity and minimum query coverage of the query to the hits. The default is to search for identical full length sequences.
